MCP Server - Claude

Claude provides MCP support across the web, desktop, and Cowork experiences. Add the Xweather server once and reuse the connector in any conversation.

Requirements

Custom connectors for MCP are available on all plan tiers. Free accounts are limited to a single custom connector.

Setup

Vaisala Xweather is featured as an official MCP connector for Claude.ai, offering a seamless setup experience.

Open the official Vaisala Xweather Connector , available in the connectors directory.

Sign in to add if necessary, otherwise select “Connect to Claude”

On the Authorization page, select Continue and enter your Xweather API credentials.

These may be found in the API Keys section of the Xweather account portal.

Select Authorize and wait for the connection to establish.

Verify that the connection is active by confirming the toggle in the chat window is enabled.
