MapsGL iOS - Examples
Each example below is a single Swift file from the demo app , which ships in the public repository and runs every one of them. Clone it, add your Xweather API keys, and open the example you want to read alongside the code.
Getting Started
Styling Weather Layers
Recoloring and reshaping the continuous fields the built-in weather layers draw: color scales, draw ranges, and particle motion.
Features & Filtering
Vector layers, where both the styling and the choice of what to draw are expressions evaluated against each feature’s own properties.
Animation
Legends, Units & Readouts
Reading values back off the map: the legend and data inspector controls, the units those values display in, and labelling your own points with sampled layer values.
Your Own Data
Sources MapsGL knows nothing about — your own tiles, geometry and imagery — added alongside the weather layers.
