He has contributed significantly to developing one of the industry's most comprehensive tropical storm tracking systems, built robust data ingest pipelines for numerous endpoints, and played a key role in the creation of the Phrases API for natural language weather descriptions. Most recently, John partnered in building the Xweather MCP server, which combines Xweather data with Large Language Models to turn conversational weather questions into weather answers.
