Jim McCaa

Jim is a Senior Manager of Impact Forecasting at Xweather. He works with product teams to develop application-specific forecasting systems, combining physics-based and deep learning models with agentic AI to help weather-sensitive businesses make the best possible decisions. He holds a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Washington and has published in climate variability, boundary-layer meteorology, and renewable energy assessment and forecasting.
